The world often places its hope in things that are ultimately fleeting and unreliable. We look to power, wealth, and even physical strength to provide security and a sense of safety. But the Bible reminds us that "the horse is a vain thing for safety," and "the horse is powerless to ensure salvation." (Psalm 33:17).
